With Christmas and New Years only just behind us I thought I would write a little update on our adventures in Montreal so far.
First of all..... it's snowing! A lot and I LOVE IT! It truly is just one of the most beautiful things I have ever experienced. I don't think I will ever tire of it. What I will tire of, is dressing my 4 and 3 year old in snow gear everyday and attempting to get out the door in less than an hour! It is exhausting and tantrums are frequent... mostly by me I'll admit!
To see the pure joy of my kids playing in the snow is something I will cherish forever. Yes it's cold, like really REALLY cold. -27C cold! We may only be able to play outside in it for 15 minutes at a time before coming in to avoid frostbite, we may have battles over wearing gloves, losing beanies and constant discussions about not eating snow... but... their joy is something incredible.
Lately it has been so cold we haven't ventured outside much so I took the opportunity to photograph my little girl, Charlotte, who turned 3 just before Christmas so I thought I would share my favorite photograph and her official 3 year old portrait with everyone!
She's smart, funny, loving, loud, bossy and is older than her years.
I'll share the full session here soon, keep and eye out for it!
Till then... keep warm if your in Canada and keep cool if your in Brisbane!
